Mystery Quilt... Easy Street Part 2

Finally completed and I am posting this weeks assignment.    I did find the easy angle rulers helpful in cutting and sewing the flying geese blocks.   

I have never participated in a mystery quilt project before.  It will be exciting to see the design unfold in a few weeks.

Thanks to Bonnie Hunter for all her planning and continued efforts in sharing this quilt pattern mystery with us!! 

These are my choices of fabrics and I am so anxious to cut into the colored selections.       

Two Finished Quilts

This first quilt is for my master bedroom.  When I took the Babylock longarm quilting class in St Louis, we had a field trip to a wonderful fabric store.   The selection of batiks was superb.

This is a Scrappy Trip Around the World done in 2 inch squares.    It is a good "stash buster".

I have become very fond of   http://www.quiltville.com/.     Bonnie has wonderful patterns and ideas to share there. 

Finished quilt for a twin log bed.

This quilt was made with some REPURPOSED FABRICS.   I got good quality larger 100% cotton men's shirts from the GOODWILL boutique.    Cut them apart and all the blocks are those fabrics with the exception of the borders and setting triangles. 

Tea Party

It has been awhile since anything has been posted here.  There has been some traveling to see mom, some special company recooperating from illness, and the general everyday duties and happenings.
